<p>PURPOSE: To provide a valve having rapid responsiveness and repeatability by placing a nonmagnetic seat near the position of highest flux density or between that position and an armature. CONSTITUTION: A nonmagnetic seat 44 is placed near the center of the vertical axis of an electrical wiring 54, its position being close to the position of highest flux density of the electrical wiring 54. An armature 82 is placed near the same position of highest flux density. The armature 82 rapidly responds to magnetic flux induced by a current passing through the electrical wiring 54. The magnetic flux is generated by the winding within a flux circuit of a center member 24, an outer member 18, and a gap between the armature 82 and the center member 24. When a current flows through the winding 54, the armature 82 is pulled toward the seat 44. When the current is stopped, the armature is made to drop toward an armature seat 96 by gravity and the force of fluid passing through the center member 24.</p> |
