PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera and a photographic printing method by which each photographic frame at the time of printing a photograph is easily and surely set. SOLUTION: A rectangular aperture 31 for imprinting a mark is formed between the extensions A and B of the edges 26a and 26b of an aperture 26 in a film feeding direction between a film rail 29 and a guiding rail 30 provided under a film path 9, and a light transmitting part 32 made of transparent resin are fit in the aperture 31. An LED is lit by a trigger signal outputted interlocked with shutter release, and the mark is imprinted on the edge of a film strip for every photographic frame from the part 32. By setting the mark developed to appear at the small aperture of a film carrier, the photographic frame is set at the correct position of the film carrier without confirming the front surface and the back surface of the film strip and the top and the bottom of a photographic image. By inserting the film carrier in a printing optical path, the photographic image of the photographic frame is printed as a normal image on photographic paper.
