PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate formation of a main body, machining treatment, filling of a drying agent, and the like by forming a spacer main body dividedly so as to be freely engaged in double glazing with an air layer formed between two sheets of plate glass through a spacer. SOLUTION: A spacer main body 11 is formed being divided into one side spacer part piece 12 and the other side spacer part piece 32, and an engaging protrusion 16 of one side spacer part piece 12 is engaged with a groove part 37 of the other side spacer part piece 32 so as to be integrated. A drying agent is filled in an internal space 23 of the other side spacer part piece 32, and one side spacer part piece 12 with through holes 13 bored in a top plate part 14 is removably put thereon to cover. With the spacer main body 11 thus formed dividedly, the main body 11 is formed easily, and machining treatment such as boring of the through holes 13 and application of paint to a required part can be performed before combining the part pieces 12, 32. Various drying agents can be fractionally stored or stored being adjusted in the filling quantity by partitioning the internal space. |
