A non-aqueous cutting oil composition is disclosed. The cutting oil composition comprises a major amount of paraffinic or naphthenic base oil and a minor amount of an additive combination which comprises: (a) sulfurized natural or synthetic sperm oil, (b) chlorinated paraffin, (c) trimer acid, and (d) dialkyl phosphite.
