PURPOSE:To eliminate curling due to a heat on the occasion of transfer of an image and to prevent the occurrence of a color shift in the transferred image and the occurrence of distortion in a projected image when it is subjected to OHP, by constructing a sheet of a transparent base formed of thermoplastic resin of a specified heat-shrinking rate, and of a transparent accepting layer accepting dye transferred from a thermal transfer sheet by heating. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer accepting sheet 1 is constructed in such a manner that a transparent accepting layer 4 is provided on one surface of a transparent base 2 with a transparent resin layer 3 of cushion property interlaid therebetween and further that a supporting body sheet 6 is provided on the surface opposite to the side whereon the accepting layer 4 of the transparent base 2 is provided, with an adhesive layer 5 interlaid therebetween, so that it can be exfoliated. AS for the transparent base 2, a sheet prepared by putting a thermoplastic resin sheet in a tensionless state and heating it to a softening temperature or above to turn a heat-shrinking rate to be 2--1% is used. As for the resin constituting the transparent resin layer 3, it is preferably the resin of which the 100% modulus is 150kg/cm<2> or below, and as for the material constituting the transparent accepting layer 4, the one which accepts an image of dye transferred from a thermal transfer sheet and can maintain the image formed by acceptance, is used. |
