PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the mounting accuracy of a barrel toroidal lens for an optical writing device for an image forming device. SOLUTION: The barrel toroidal lens 21 for correcting the deviation of a laser beam in a sub scanning direction and a mirror 23 positioned near the barrel toroidal lens and for refracting the laser beam from the barrel toroidal lens and for guiding the beam to an optical system are formed into one body through a mounting piece 22a extending from the barrel toroidal lens so as to be fixed on a writing unit frame 20. Besides, by engaging a guide pin formed on the mounting piece 22a with the device housing, the lens and the mirror are fixed on the frame 20. |
