A method of treating seeds of grasses, comprising exposing seed rice and seeds of corn to a magnetic field before they are cultivated, and then placing the resultant seeds on a flat plate of gray cast iron to expose them to an electric field; or exposing seed rice and seeds of corn to a magnetic field after they have been exposed to an electric field; or preferably immersing seed rice and seeds of corn in specific water electric-field-treated or magnetic-field-treated in advance, these treatments promoting the germination of the seeds and activating vegetation genes, resulting in an increase in the yield.
