A power supply apparatus of a battery charger for a portable device is provided to transform a DC power of a main SMPS to a constant voltage/constant current suitable for a power of the portable device by regulating the DC power as a linear method. In a power supply apparatus of a battery charger for a portable device, a power supply member which additionally supplies power used by the portable device to the portable device is installed separately from a battery charging unit(24) which supplies charging power to a battery(30).
