PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new improved technique for process control by connecting a specified expected tone reproduction curve with a tone reproduction sample to reconstitute a tone reproduction curve and by controlling a machine operation in response to the tone reproduction curve reconstituted. SOLUTION: In a image forming system having a control device comprising a set of actuator for projecting a printed image on a printed image forming surface, a image forming system is modeled with regard to an actuator for forming an expected tone reproduction curve. The expected tone reproduction curve is defined by a formula and an optional tone reproduction sample is obtained. The expected tone reproduction curve is connected with the tone reproduction sample to reconstitute a tone reproduction curve and a machine operation is controlled in response to the tone reproduction curve reconstituted. Here, in the formula, C is TRC measured, C▵ is TRC forecasted and C-is TRC reconstituted. |
