OPTICAL DISK MARKING DEVICE, METHOD THEREFOR AND OPTICAL DISK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk marking device hardly causing variation in quality of respective marks constituting different patterns by emitting light beams in rectangular beam shape by a cylindrical lens and intermittently applying the trimming of a reflection mirror to an optical disk relatively rotating in a circumferential direction by a rotary device. SOLUTION: The laser beams 12 emitted from a laser oscillator 10 is made incident on a cylindrical lens 13 to form rectangular laser beams 17. A condenser lens 14 focuses the rectangular laser beam 17 on the marking area 11a being on the aluminum film of the optical disk 11 mounted on a turntable 15. The laser beams 12 are intermittently emitted from the laser oscillator 10 to the optical disk continuously rotated at a constant speed by a rotary device 19. Since the rectangular laser beams 17 for forming marks 18 is formed by the cylindrical lens 13, the deterioration of slit part is not caused.
