PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse circuit that can secure a sufficient quantity of reading-out current for obtaining stable reading operation. SOLUTION: In this fuse circuit which selectively breaks and reads out a plurality of electric fuse elements Q1, the direction of the electric current used for programming (breaking) the fuse elements Q1 when a fuse element breaking means 14 breaks electric fuses is made equal to that of the electric current used for reading (reading out the broken/non-broken states of the elements Q1), when reading-out means 11, 12, and 19 read out the broken/non-broken states of the elements Q1. Consequently, a sufficient quantity of reading-out current can be secured and the stable operation is obtained when reading out from the elements Q1. |
