The present invention relates to a circular ring antenna having broadband characteristics formed in the type of a planar ring monopole antenna. The circular ring antenna comprises: a circular ring-shaped antenna; a stub formed as a strip line; and a rectangular slot formed on a ground surface. A plurality of protrusion units are formed in the circular ring-shaped antenna, so the entire multi-band in a range of 2-5 GHz can be used.
