PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a metallic porous body having fine pores, through pores, three-dimensional pores, etc. SOLUTION: A metal powder P is spread on a continuously conveyed conveyance belt 2 or supporting sheet. The conveyance belt on which the metal powder is spread is introduced into a sintering furnace 4, where the metal powder is sintered in a state in which the metal powder is not compressed and neighboring powder grains are partly brought into contact with each other, leaving spaces. By the above procedure, the metallic porous body in which respective contacting parts of the metal powder grains are bonded and the spaces become fine pores, can be formed. |
