The device relates to the design of a stretcher which easily permits all types of handling operations, including two longitudinal members 1 in the shape of a T ending in handles 3 on which are fastened the carrying chains 2 and the holding chains 4 with the aid of removable attachments 5 held in the perforations located on the vertical parts 7 and in the perforations located on the horizontal parts 6 of the longitudinal members. As all the pieces are removable, the device offers multiple assembly configurations. <IMAGE>
