An automatic activation system of upward/downward buttons of an elevator is provided to automatically activate a boarding demand button without pressing the same with a hand. An automatic activation system of upward/downward buttons of an elevator includes a chip(16) carried by a human body and detected by a sensor(52), a sensor installed near an elevator(58) to detect the chip when a person carrying the chip, and a boarding demand button activating controller to receive a detecting signal from the sensor to activate a boarding demand button(56) at any direction between an upward direction and a downward direction.
