A shift register and drive method thereof, and gate drive circuit, addressing an existing problem in which a gate drive circuit cannot alter an overlap ratio between gate conduction timing. The shift register comprises: an input unit controlling whether to input a signal of a first input terminal to a charging unit; the charging unit charging a pull-up node (PU); a pull-up unit maintaining the pull-up node (PU) at a high voltage level; a high voltage level output unit controlling whether to output the high voltage level to an output terminal according to a voltage level of the pull-up node (PU); a pull-down unit pulling down the voltage level of the pull-up node (PU) and outputting a low voltage level to the output terminal; and a low voltage level output unit outputting the low voltage level to the output terminal. The gate drive circuit is formed by cascading a plurality of the above shift registers. |
