In this cooling system, a number of double-chamber coolboxes are assembled to form a cooling unit with their symmetrically arranged cold-air and outgoing-air ducts via the inlet and outlet slots thereof, which unit is supplied with cold air from a cooling aggregate. In this case, the duct supplies cold air to the boxes, the duct draws the warmed air off from the boxes and conveys it back to the cooling aggregate. For fastening the boxes to one another, grooves are arranged symmetrically on the surface of the boxes, into which double profiled-strips can be inserted.
