<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject deinking agent, containing a specific compound, having excellent deinking performance, readily handleable due to a liquid state and capable of providing reclaimed pulp having a high whiteness degree with hardly any number of residual ink without requiring heating. CONSTITUTION:The objective deinking agent containing a compound expressed by formulas I and/or II (R1 is 5-30C alkyl or alkenyl; R2 is 1-8C alkyl; m and an are the average numbers of added mol and m is 0-30; n is 0-20, provided that m and n are not 0 at the same time) [e.g. C16H31CH(CH2COOC3H7)COO (EO)22H (EO is ethylene oxide unit), etc.]. Furthermore, the above-mentioned deinking agent in an amount of 0.2-0.8wt.% is preferably added to raw material waste paper.</p> |
