PURPOSE:To obtain water- and oil-repellent powder for cosmetics excellent in water and oil repellency and touch after use, especially smoothness by treating the surface of powder with a multivalent. metallic salt of an acylated amino acid or a multivalent metallic salt of amidosulfonic acid and a compd. having a perfluoroalkyl group contg. a specified number or more of C atoms. CONSTITUTION:The surface of powder is treated with a multivalent metallic salt of an acylated amino acid represented by formula I and/or a multivalent metallic salt of amidosulfonic acid represented by formula II and a compd. having a straight or branched chain >=6C perfluoroalkyl group in the molecule to obtain the objective water- and oil-repellent powder. In the formula I, R is straight or branched chain 7-21C alkyl, etc., M<1> is a multivalent metal atom, x is a number of 1-11, m is the valence of M<1> and n is a number of 1-4. In the formula II, R<2> is straight or branched chain 7-21C alkyl, etc., R<3> is H, etc., M<2> is a multivalent metal atom, Y is ethylene, etc., p is the valence of M<2> and q is 1-4. |
