PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone reception system having a PBX(Private Branch Exchanger) that realizes a quick telephone response. SOLUTION: The telephone reception system is provided with a telephone 6, a telephone reception terminal 4 having an operator sensor 12 sensing the presence of an operator, an information processor 5 having an input output control section 7 and a seat leave control section 8, a PBX 1 controlling a telephone line. When the operator to answer a telephone call returns to its own seat, the operator sensor 12 transmits seated information 13 to the seat leave control section 8, the seat leave control section 8 transmits the seated information 13 to the PBX 1 as seat leave release information 14, and the PBX 1 permits the arrival of the incoming call to share the incoming call to the telephone 6 that can immediately answer and receive the telephone call.
