<p>The invention is aimed at a method of simulating the state of a telecommunication network (10) comprising the steps consisting in simulating the presence, at one and the same date and at one and the same first node (NE<SUB>1</SUB>, NE<SUB>3</SUB>) of the network (10) of data packets whose conveyance up to one and the same second node (NE<SUB>4</SUB>) of the network (10) one wishes to simulate and in globally simulating the conveyance for at least one quantity, at least equal to two, of said packets.</p>
