PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure and manufacturing steps of a vibration motor.SOLUTION: The vibration motor comprises: a base unit expanded vertically to a center axis directed in a vertical direction; a magnet 13 to be a single member fixed on an upper portion of the base unit in a vertical direction; a vibration unit arranged on the periphery of the magnet and allowed to vibrate in the vertical direction; a cover unit covering upper portions and sides of the magnet 13 and the vibration unit and fixed on the base unit; and an elastic member arranged between the upper inner surface of the cover unit and the upper portion of the vibration unit. The vibration unit includes a coil section opposed to the magnet 13 in a radial direction and a mass section fixed on the coil section. The magnet 13 includes a plurality of magnetic pole pairs 131 each composed of two magnetic poles 133 and 134 adjacent to each other in a vertical direction and having respectively different polarity and a non-magnetic portion 132 located between respective magnetic pole pairs 131 in the vertical direction and constituted so that two magnetic poles 133 and 134 adjacent in the vertical direction have the same polarity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
