PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber and an absorbent article, excellent in shape-keeping properties, capable of reducing breaking or leaning of an absorbent layer inside the absorber.SOLUTION: An absorber 1 includes a liquid-permeable first sheet 2 and a second sheet 3, and an absorbent layer is disposed between the first sheet 2 and the second sheet 3. The absorbent layer contains water absorbable resin powder 4, and compounds with a specific structure to improve the shape-keeping properties such as a monoalkyl (8-22C) trimethyl ammonium salt, a dialkyl (8-22C) dimethyl ammonium salt, and/or monoalkyl (8-22C) diethanolamine. |
