PURPOSE:To continuously produce the subject produce having a high dielectric constant, being excellent in solvent resistance, tensile strength, etc., at a low cost by oxidatively polymerizing a monomer such as pyrrole by a specific method. CONSTITUTION:A mixted solution of a monomer (e.g. pyrrole, furan or thiophene) with a binder polymer, or a solution containing both the components in a common solvent is extruded into a solution containing an oxidizing agent in the form of fibers or a film, while the oxidation potential of the solution containing the oxidizing agent is controlled, and simultaneously subjected to a oxidative polymerization. When the monomer is pyrrole, the binder polymer and the oxidizing agent are polystyrene, etc., and FeCl3 are preferable, respectively, and the oxidation potential is preferably 450-800mV (VS. SCE). |
