PURPOSE:To improve the flow of ink and to equalize the thickness of the ink supplied to the surface of a printing cylinder by dextrously arranging two swing rollers and six mill rollers between the first swing roller and the second swing roller. CONSTITUTION:Ink in an ink bottle 21 is adhered by the rotation of a bottle roller 22 onto the peripheral surface, and is transferred intermittently to the first swing roller 23 via a transfer roller 25 which reciprocates upon scraping of a roller arm 24. After the ink on the roller 23 is transferred through nips N1, N2 to the third swing roller 31, it is branched at a nip N3 into both routes, and one ink is supplied to the surface of a printing cylinder 26 via an ink adhering roller 30 through nips N4-N8. The other ink is supplied to the surface of the printing cylinder through nips N9-N24. Since the number of main stream nips can be reduced without decreasing the milling effect by providing the third milling roller 36 foring the nips N3, N4, new ink can be smoothly flowed out and supplied to the surface of the printing cylinder. |
