PURPOSE:To attain excellent reproduction by introducing a pulse obtained from a frequency signal (PG pulse) synchronously with a capstant circuit through 1/2 frequency division even when a tape is run in a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A timing chart illustrates the range of a pattern signal when the displacement range of an electromechanical converting element is supposed to take from an upper side +100mum to a lower side -100mum. A medium is run in a speed corresponding to the 20-time speed search reproduction and a pattern is generated by using the PG pulse, then a pattern signal A is generated as the assumption. A desired pattern is generated from a point P1 to a P2, but the converting element is not displaced because of the condition of range of displacement from the point P2 to a point P3. Thus, a PG pulse is subject to 1/2 frequency division to a counter generating speed information of the medium at a high speed medium running, a pattern signal like a pattern A' is generated and a reproduced pattern with less noise bar is obtained. |
