<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographic apparatus which provides an image with high definition and high compression ratio. <P>SOLUTION: The photographic apparatus has a coding means 511 having a function for applying coding processing in a frame to photographed data concerning photography, a function for performing prediction coding between frames photographed before and after in time series and a function for dividing the photograph data into a plurality of independent layers with different resolution.
