PURPOSE:To permit the equal scooping of soil by buckets by lessening resistance of soil to be applied to the claws of the bucket by a method in which the width of buckets which are opened or closed in a mutually facing manner through a pivotal supporter is made a comparatively small, and excavating claws are provided at the lower end of the bucket. CONSTITUTION:A pivotal supporter 3 is provided at the upper parts of buckets 1 and 2 facing each other, and a power device 4 for opening or closing the bucket is provided near the supporter 3. The width of the buckets 1 and 2 is increased to almost two times the depth in the before and behind direction. Excavating claws 5 and 6 are set at the lower tips of the buckets 1 and 2 to make up a bucket device for scooping soil. The bucket device is hung down by a steel rope to a comparatively deep position, and the buckets 1 and 2 are opened to grasp soil. Since the resistance of soil to be applied to the claws 5 and 6 of the buckets is reduced by making the width of the buckets 1 and 2 smaller, soil can be equally scooped by the whole of the buckets 1 and 2. |
