PURPOSE:To lessen the generation of a reversal electrostatic charge toner and the deterioration of electrification, even in case of continuously copying a lot of sheets by composing the title agent of a toner contg. a specified iron complex compd. as an electrostatic charge control agent, and a carrier coated with a silicone resin. CONSTITUTION:The dry developing agent is composed of the toner contg. the iron complex compd. shown by formula I as the electrostatic charge control agent, and a ferrite carrier with the surface of the carrier coated with the silicone resin. In formula I, X1 and X2 are each hydrogen atom. or a lower alkyl group, etc., (n) is 1 or 2, (m) is an integer of 1-3, A<+> is a hydrogen ion, a sodium ion or an ammonium ion, etc. The excellent negative electrostatic charge characteristic of the dry developing agent is maintained by combining the toner contg. the iron complex compd. having a specified structure as the electrostatic charge characteristic, and the carrier which contains a ferrite magnetic powder as a core material and is coated the core material with the silicone resin. Thus, the toner having the reversal electrostatic charge characteristic and trouble about the image quality such as ground fogging, etc., do not generate even in the case that the lot of sheets are copied for a long period. |
