PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display recording fluid which does not cause oozing of an ink on a recording paper, formation of a deposit and clogging within a nozzle of an inkjet printer, and an image-forming method using the fluid. SOLUTION: In the image display recording fluid comprising water, a colorant, a humectant and a gelling agent, the ratio of inorganic properties to organic properties (I/O)gel of the gelling agent and the ratio of inorganic properties to organic properties (I/O)moist of the humectant have a relationship represented by the formula. The vapor pressure at 25 deg.C of the humectant is preferably not higher than 0.1 mmHg. Images are formed by the inkjet recording system with the use of this image display recording fluid. |
