PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high quality long fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin molding material with crushing and breaking suppressed in good productivity. SOLUTION: In an apparatus for producing the long fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin molding material comprising an impregnation die 3 impregnating a reinforcing fiber bundle with a thermoplastic resin while taking over the bundle and a take-over device taking over the resin-impregnated reinforcing fiber bundle impregnated with the thermoplastic resin, in the take-over device, at least two pairs of rolls 8 are installed above and below the rein-impregnated reinforcing fiber bundle in its advance direction.
