The hose fixture has an inner dia. which corresponds to the external dia. of the plastic hose used, and has a collar which allows it to be fastened in a pre-bored hole when pushed into it. The pre-bent hose and fixture are adhered together. - Assembly takes place without the ear insert being firmly adhered or moulded, and being fitted with a so-called fitment pencil. This process may be carried out by the wearer of the hearing aid. The hose fixture is easily removed from the ear with a suitable instrument. |
