PURPOSE:To provide a knob helpful not only for getting into and out of a bathtub or standing up from the bathtub, but also for keeping the body stable and further to provide a bathtub designed to enable the bather to keep a relaxed posture during bathing. CONSTITUTION:A step 11 for armrest is provided at the inner surface of two opposite side walls 12, 12 in a bathtub 1. A knob 2 is provided ahead of the step 11 for armrest. A body 21 of the knob 2 is longitudinally oriented nearly in parallel with the side wall 12 provided. The end of the body 21 of the knob 2 is outwardly bent to form a side lever 22. The tip of the side lever 22 is fitted to the inner surface of the side wall 12 above the step 11 for armrest. The end of the body 21 of the knob 2 is bent downward to form a bent section 23 and the lower end of the bent section 23 is attached to the top of the step 11 for armrest. |
