PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which can precisely record information. SOLUTION: A means which computes the first specified values whose center is a reference value to an unused area n+1 in the test area of an optical disk, lets driving currents, which correspond to the computed first specified values, flow to a laser diode to execute successive writing; a means which reads out the information recorded in the area n+1 of the test area and computes the first optimum specified value; a means which computes the second specified values whose center is the first optimum specified value to an area n+2 in the test area and controls the driving current of the laser diode to execute the successive writing so that the computed second specified value may be outputted from a monitor; and a means which reads out the information recorded in the area n+2 of the test area and computes a specified value at the time of writing are provided. |
