PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing jig for fixing a temporary construction of which the fixing jig is reduced in weight, can be surely held on a slate roof, and enables safe work. SOLUTION: The fixing jig 10 on the corrugated slate roof 1 has an engaging part which is engageable with a joint member 6 for joining the slate roof 1 to a purlin, and is provided with a platy base member 11 having the size that strides between recessed parts 3 of the slate roof 1 positioned on both adjacent sides of the joint member 6. The fixing jig 10 is further provided with leg parts 16 joined to a lower side part of the platy base member 11 in an integrating manner and supported by the recessed parts 3 of the slate roof 1, and clamp parts 20 for the temporary construction which are connected to an upper side part of the platy base member 11.
