PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To periodically clean foreign matters such as paper dust or dust accumulated in a sensor, in an imaging device equipped with the sensor for detecting printing paper. SOLUTION: A stencil printing device 2 comprises a paper feed table 3 which ascends/descends with printing paper 10 disposed aboard, a paper feed means 6 which unloads the printing paper 10 from the top following the ascent of the paper feed table 3, a paper sensor 18 which detects the printing paper 10 unloaded by the paper feed means 6, a first conveying means 15 for the printing paper 10 and a printing drum 20. One of the ends of a pneumatic pump 41 for a foreign particle removing means 40 is mounted under the paper feed table 3, while the other end is fixed to the frame of the device. An air nozzle communicating with the pneumatic pump 41 is arranged near the paper sensor 18. When the printing paper on the paper feed table has run out, or something unexpected has occurred, the paper feed table 3 descends to the lower limit position. In this case, the pneumatic pump 41 is compressed to blow air to the paper sensor 18. Thus foreign particles such as paper dust or dust accumulated on the sensor 18 are blown off. |
