The present invention relates to a short-range communication device for a portable device and an automatic electronic toll collection system including the same. The automatic electronic toll collection system is used at a tollgate and comprises: each toll lane (30) which is installed at the tollgate of a highway and includes a hi-pass antenna (31) installed on one side thereof; a processing unit (50) which is installed at the tollgate and is interlinked with the hi-pass antenna (31); a short-range communication device (10) connected to the charging terminal (22) of a mobile electronic device (20); and the mobile electronic device (20) in which an application (21) interlinked with a short-range communication module (11) of the short-range communication device (10) is installed. When a user carrying the portable device (20) drives a car to pass the toll lane (30), the short-range communication module (11) is interlinked with the hi-pass antenna (31) to recognize the car and process information, thereby promoting accuracy. In addition, the convenience of a user is improved by using the short-range communication device (10) and the portable device (20) without a separate hi-pass terminal and a card. Therefore, the present invention improves economic efficiency. |
