PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface roughing device which can efficiently carry out a surface roughing work by the scratches in the axial direction, in order to increase the adhesive effect of an adhesive surface where a commutator and the like is fitted to a rotary shaft. SOLUTION: A shattle board 4 moving reciprocating along a guide rail 3; and a pair of holding rollers 6 and 7 provide having the axial center parallel to the moving direction to the support plate 5 of the shattle board 4; are provided to a base 1. A band form sand paper 27 making its polishing surface to the outer side is hung around on the holding rollers 6 and 7, and the adhesive surface 31 of a rotary shaft 3a is pressure contacted and held on the holding rollers 6 and 7 through the sand paper 27. While the rotary shaft 30 is supported movable only in the rotating direction of the rotary shaft 30 to move the shattle board 4 reciprocating according to the width in the axial direction of the adhesive surface 31, the rotary shaft 30 is rotated at a low speed. |
