PURPOSE:To prevent the sag of a transfer material to transfer a clear image without deviation, by constituting a separating roller so that the transfer material carrying speed in the separating roller part is higher than the movement speed of the center of the thickness of the transfer material on the surface of an image carrier. CONSTITUTION:The toner image on a photosensitive drum 10 as a image carrier is transferred onto a transfer material in a form saucer 13 by a transfer part 8. In the transfer part, a separating belt 21 is provided in the end part of the drum 10. The transfer material P is guided by guide plates 16 and 16a and is brought into contact with the drum in the region surrounded with dotted lines and one- dot broken lines in figure and reaches a turn roller 24 and is held between the roller 24 and a pinch roller 25. Since the peripheral speed of these rollers 24 and 25 is slightly higher than the surface speed of the photoreceptor, the transfer material P is stretched tensely with tension. The transfer paper P is fed in the same speed as register rollers 15 and 15a because the pinch roller 25 is slipped alightly. |
