The present invention relates to a transmission shift control device based on a demand of a drive power, to control shifting of the automatic transmission, comprising: an engine output map to store an output data for each vehicle velocity according to a pedaling amount of an accelerator; and an engine fuel ratio map to store each fuel ratio data for an engine output from a full load to a partial load for each driving region revolution of the engine; and a gear ratio map for each gear to store a reduction ratio data for each gear of the automatic transmission. The transmission shift control device is provided to calculate a demanded output of a driver from the engine output map according to an accelerator pedal manipulation of the driver and a current velocity of the vehicle, or to calculate the demanded output of the driver according to a brake pedaling amount. If the demanded output change is the predefined value or less, the shifting of the automatic transmission is not implemented. If the demanded output change is greater than the predefined value, the device is provided to find a target engine revolution of the lowest fuel ratio, to calculate an input shaft revolution corresponding to the current output shaft revolution for each gear, based on each reduction ratio for each gear stored on the gear ratio map for each gear, and to control determining shifting or not and a target gear for shifting by comparing the calculated input shaft revolution and the target engine revolution. |
