PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress that a side seal fixed to a slider is damaged when moving the slider of a linear motion guide device to a guide rail from a temporary shaft.SOLUTION: A protection part 1 has a plate-shaped member 11 which covers a longitudinal end face of a guide rail, and a plurality of arm parts 12 which are arranged outside both side faces of the guide rail in elastically-deformable states. At the longitudinal end part of the guide rail, there is arranged an inclined part having inclined faces which become smaller in dimensions as separating from an upper face and both-side faces of the guide rail with these faces as starting points. A first face 111 opposing the longitudinal end face of the guide rail of the plate-shaped member 11 is the same as on cross section which is parallel with the longitudinal end face in the inclined part. A second face 112 is smaller than the first face 111. The first face 111 and the second face 112 are connected to each other by inclined faces 113, 114, and the inclined faces 113, 114 are moderate more than the inclined faces of the guide rail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
