<p>PURPOSE:To provide a glove compartment which prevents rain water from entering when an open-roof type automobile is left outdoors in the rain with the roof opened. CONSTITUTION:A projected rib section 13 is formed along the whole outer periphery of a glove compartment 10 the upper section of which is opened, a groove section is formed along the projected rib section 13 at the outside of the projected rib section 13, a hinge which pivotally supports a cover 11 in such a way as to be freely opened/closed, is disposed in the groove section, the upper end of a cover opening support member 17 is pivotally supported at the lower surface of the cover 11, and the cover opening support member 17 is attached to the locking recessed section of the projected rib section 13 in such a way as to be freely locked/unlocked.</p> |
