<p>PURPOSE:To enable continuous feed of a synthetic resin tape, by reciprocating a delivery roll in a direction not parallel with the moving direction of a heated aluminum tape so that the roll comes into or cut of contact with the tape. CONSTITUTION:To exchange a coil 6A of synthetic resin tape 2 for a new coil 6B, the end of a synthetic resin tape 2 pulled out of the coil 6B is attached to a delivery roll 7 by an adhesive tape 8 and the roll 7 is thereafter moved into contact with a heated aluminum tape 1. The end of the latter resin tape 2 is melt-bonded on the aluminum tape 1. The resin tape is molten off at the end of the adhesive tape 8. After the resin tape 2 from the new coil 6B is moved together with the aluminum tape 1 toward a tightly fitting roll 5, the delivery roll 7 is separated along a passage 10. At the same time, the resin tape 2 from the coil 6A is cut off to finish exchanging the tape for the other resin tape 2 from the new coil 6B.</p> |
