PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting gene by isothermal amplification method, by which the synthesis of a complementary strand from a non-targeted base sequence can surely be prevented, even in various nucleic acid sequences for more sure, as well as, accurate detection of the gene. SOLUTION: This method for detecting gene by the isothermal amplification method is characterized by using an oligonucleotide capable of specifically annealing the non-targeted base sequence to prevent the synthesis of the complementary strand from the non-targeted base sequence.
