The rotating drum containing the grinding elements inside the grinding space and face wall has a spigot-like extension welded to the face wall. Inside the spigot channel the feed assembly is fitted consisting of a load-carrying tube on which the drum i.e. the spigot is seated using an axial/radial roller bearing in a cantilever manner. Inside the tube the material supply tube is fitted coaxially terminating inside the grinding space with an inlet valve assembly with a closing disc to which a rod is fitted. The other end of the rod terminates outside the spigot and has a spring acting in valve closing direction. The valve assembly opens on pressure of the material brought in via a pipe.
