<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely unify the words described in different expressions into the words of a standard expression for preparation of document and translated document. SOLUTION: The contents of a word dictionary 204 which is stored in a CD-ROM 202 or a floppy disk 203, etc., are read and stored in a hard disk device 104 of a personal computer, etc. The unification of words of documents which are inputted separately from each other or the unification of words used in a Japanese-English translation mode are supported by means of the dictionary 204. A support program of this unification of words is stored in an internal memory and used when a processor is started by the personal computer, etc. When the dictionary 204 is read to the device 104, the contents of the dictionary 204 are divided into a Japanese-English dictionary 205 which is used for support of the documents of Japanese words and also the Japanese-English translation and an English-English dictionary 206 which is used for support of the English documents and then stored in the device 104.</p> |
