PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cake food stuffed with bean jam suitable for being toasted to eat. SOLUTION: This rice cake food of flat shape stuffed with bean jam having a nearly uniform thickness as a whole, has inside the Adzuki (Japanese red) bean jam 2 wrapped with a thin-walled and solidified rice cake outer coat 1 having a nearly uniform dough thickness, wherein sugar is added to the rice cake outer coat 1 so that the Brix value of the rice cake outer coat 1 is greater than that of the bean jam 2 by >=16.
