The hood for an electrical fan heater has a double-shell construction, with an outer hood and a thin-wall inner hood, forming an air chamber between them. The air flow to the radial fan passes partially at the rear to cool the rear side of the hood, and a part-flow is controlled by adjustment flaps to prevent heat transfer between the inner and outer sections. The inner hood has a perforated plate to set the air flow through slits to the fan. An air lock prevents mixing of the hot blown air with the cool air inflow.
|
