PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient photoelectric conversion element which inhibits light absorption of a dye to achieve excellent design without impairing a color property.SOLUTION: In a photoelectric conversion element including a semiconductor electrode, a counter electrode and an electrolyte layer held between the electrodes, the electrolyte layer contains as redox pair, a benzoquinone derivative of 2 mM-1800 mM which has one or more alkyl groups substituted by one or more fluorine atoms in a molecular structure and a hydroquinone derivative of 2 mM-1800 mM which has one or more alkyl groups substituted by one or more fluorine atoms in a molecular structure, and the electrolyte layer contains ammonium salt of 4 mM-3600 mM as an addition agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
