PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and illumination equipment that can enhance stability of the operation at the re-start time.SOLUTION: A lighting device 4 has a buck converter 40, a control circuit 41, a bootstrap circuit, a first control power supply circuit 42 and a second control power supply circuit 43. The bootstrap circuit is configured to generate a driving voltage HVcc which is required to perform ON/OFF operation on switching elements Q21, Q22 of the buck converter 40 by the control circuit 41. The first control power supply circuit 42 is configured to supply a first control power supply voltage Vcc to the bootstrap circuit. The second control power supply circuit 43 is configured to generate a driving voltage HVcc only when the bootstrap circuit does not normally operate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
